USC Iranian Graduate Students Association (IGSA)
congratulates your admission at the University of Southern California.
Now is the greatest time to be a USC student. 125 year old university,
USC is now one of the most actively recognized professional schools
in the United States. It consists of more than 35,000 students and
numerous successful alumni who are scattered all around the world.
With Trojans in every industry and area of academics, it is easier
to meet your self-set goal of success. Also, there has never been
a moment when the school has been academically reflected better
than now. For all previous years, the university's acceptance standards
have risen greatly and now surpass many outstanding schools in nation.
We greatly praise your exceptional achievement and elegant decision
for joining USC.
Fortunately, USC Iranian Graduate Students Association
is one of the most active Iranian communities in the United States.
For new Iranian students we have a special program in order to welcoming
them and easing the impact of their relocation. Within the first
couple of weeks of upcoming semester, we will offer some programs
to dispel the fear and confusion many new students might suffer.
To name some, we are going to pick up students, who do not have
any relative or friends in Los Angeles, from LAX airport. Also we
are trying to help you with your settling process via presenting
information sessions, campus orientation, etc. IGSA Newcomers Chapter
assures you that you have friends here at USC who care about you
and will try to fulfill your needs once you are here.
If you would like to take advantage of our programs,
please contact us at igsa-newcomers@usc.edu. We also recommend you
to register as
a new member of IGSA and join
IGSA mailing list.
We are eagerly looking forward to having you here
at USC.
